Prior to founding Lattice Wealth Management, Inc. Michael Ross spent almost 35 years at Morgan Stanley. He has always taken a disciplined approach to investing and managing client relationships. Lattice works with individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
In 1997, Michael joined Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Management Program, and in 1999, he earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Wharton School of Business. Two years later, Citigroup Trust Company tapped him for the role of Fiduciary Portfolio Manager. He co-founded the Portfolio Management Institute (PMI), of which he is a past president, and is also co-founder and past president of the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers. He works extensively on portfolio management topics in collaboration with Columbia University.
Michael earned a seat on the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management President’s Council and was awarded the 2009 Bill Eager Award as Portfolio Manager of the Year from PMI, recognizing his dedication and commitment to his clients and passion for the markets. In 2015, Michael was promoted to Executive Director in the firm’s Wealth Management office in San Jose, California.
Michael also serves on the Board of the United States Air Force Academy Endowment. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and a Master of Arts Degree from State University of New York.
Shawn Flynn is a seasoned mid-market investment banker and distinguished Podcast Host. With a rich background as a successful business owner in Beijing, China, Shawn returned to Silicon Valley, where he immersed himself in the dynamic startup ecosystem.
He has held diverse roles, from Head of Incubation for an AI-focused incubator to President of the second oldest Angel group in the Valley. Leveraging his extensive experience across various business stages and sectors, Shawn currently serves as principal at a premier middle market investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions, growth capital raising, and secondary.
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD, and his global perspective is enriched by his proficiency in Mandarin and Spanish, acquired during almost eight years of living abroad. As the host of the acclaimed "The Silicon Valley Podcast," Shawn shares valuable insights and conversations with thought leaders and industry pioneers.

Matt Cohen is an expert selling businesses in B2B services, contractor trades, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, healthcare, e-commerce, software and other technology.
Mr. Cohen has facilitated transactions with an array of buyers including family offices, private equity firms, high net worth individuals, and larger corporations. He represents clients with revenue under $25 million by helping them prepare their business for sale, implementing broad based marketing plans, managing appropriate communication between the parties and counseling on key decisions.
Mike Morales, CPA, MST, is a Tax Principal with over seventeen years of public accounting experience working with C and S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
Mike works with many Bay Area closely held businesses, such as professional services, real estate, construction, and more, along with their owners. He delivers efficient strategies to his clients to minimize their tax burden so they can concentrate on other aspects of their business.
When Mike is not helping businesses with their taxes he is working with Silicon Valley executives and their stock option taxation as well as other wealth streams. Mike has experience managing client engagements, tax compliance, and providing income tax planning advisory services. Mike holds a Master of Science in Taxation and Bachelor of Science degree, Accounting, from San Jose State University.
Outside the office, Mike enjoys traveling, working out, and family events with his wife and two boys.
